The City of Joondalup’s Staff Development Day (pictured) featured a bonanza of workshops, inspired by the imminent Plastic Bag Ban and how we can ditch single use plastic. Keep Cups, Boomerang Bags, Beeswax Wraps are so hot right now!
Participants loved getting their hands dirty and creative with the workshops – DIY Beeswax Wraps, Sew Your Own shopping bag, how to Declutter the Sustainable Way, worm farm and composting 101, and more.
In our workshop, staff mixed freely – grating wax, ironing and getting to know each other. For this large organisation, it was an epic 2 day Professional Development event!
