Linking Land, People and Ideas
Help care for and protect your special natural places
Through active partnership and collaboration with organisations and landholders, Green Skills Inc protects and restores the natural ecology of areas from Perth to WA’s Great Southern.
Our hands-on revegetation and restoration projects build community awareness of the importance of biodiversity to a sustainable future.
Green Skills Inc has a particular focus on weed control, shorebirds, and wetlands, and works closely with landcare groups such as Aboriginal Ranger groups, catchment groups, the Gondwana Link program and State NRM.

Revegetate, Restore and Rehabilitate
Green Skills has a wealth of experience in practical, collaborative, and innovative ecological restoration
Green Skills Inc’s restoration work in the Great Southern focuses on high conservation bushland connections, contributes to reconnected, healthy and resilient country across south-western Australia.
Through eco-restoration projects such as Tootanellup, landscape restoration projects undertaken by our Environmental Services team and our many community based efforts, we continue to work with many diverse landholders, volunteers and organisations.

Biodiversity
The South West of Western Australia is one of 34 recognised global biodiversity hotspots.
Our contribution to conserving and restoring our natural environment is vitally important and it relies on community and volunteer involvement. We work to conserve and restore our natural environment.
Green Skills does much more than fence off vegetation and plant trees
Protecting ecology means considering the needs of all plant and animal species. Green Skills has a range of species focused projects, like Balijup Fauna Sanctuary – a predator-free sanctuary for securing the future for some of the unique and threatened native marsupials of the South Coast region.

Protecting and Celebrating Birds
Green Skills protects wetland habitat, monitors shorebird migration, and increases knowledge and appreciation of birds in the South Coast region.
Wetlands and Waterways
Wetlands are a crucial part of our natural world, but are often under-appreciated and under threat
Together, we can protect and promote the ecological values of wetlands.
Green Skills works at multiple levels to make a difference – from fencing off and rehabilitating individual wetlands in Denmark to being a member of the International Living Lakes Network.
You can help to protect our special wetlands through the Living Lakes of Gondwana project.
