2025-Green Skills Inc-Tootanellup Zamia Walking Together Project

Green Skills acquired a 50-hectare rural block at Tootanellup near Rocky Gully, northwest of Mt Barker in October 2020 for eco-restoration as part of Gondwana Link as well as for cultural connections. Green Skills has worked with Carbon Positive Australia and Dr Geoff Woodall to revegetate 25 hectares at Tootanellup, with seeding of 80 or so species of local flora. One of the projects being run at Tootanellup incorporates an eco restoration and cultural focus on Zamia cycad (Macrozamia riedlei or  Jerrrili (Noongar). This report summarizes this project.
