Helen has been working part time managing the Denmark office since August 2015, participating in the WHS committee and undertaking project development. She is a member of the Green Skills Management Team. Helen is constantly inspired by her colleagues, working alongside them to ensure the success of Green Skills achievements in land care, river care, coast care, social care and waste minimisation effort.  With a deep love of wild and natural places, Helen is committed to  providing opportunities for people to make their own conscious choices to ensure the planet’s sustatinable future and possibilities for living productive lives within natural environments, in a less destructive way. Helen enjoys her professional roles of environmental project management and organisational management and brings a focus on collaborative work, networking and building community effort in progressive & environmentally sensitive, sustainable lifestyle choices.

Basil has been involved and working with Green Skills since the early 1990’s. He develops, implements and oversees a wide range of projects linked to community development and ecological restoration.

Basil’s interests and passions include wetlands restoration, biodiversity conservation, eco-arts, waste minimisation, and community education. Basil is involved in major eco-restoration programs (especially those linked to Gondwana Link) that require building long term collaborations landholders, farmers and diverse agencies of interest. The strategic management of these sometimes complex initiatives, demonstrates Basil’s commitment to the environment and a sustainable future.

Nicole Robinson

Finance Manager

Nicole has joined the Green Skills team as finance manager. Her organisation-wide role of managing the Green Skills finances is delivered from the Denmark office. Nicole is warmly welcomed into the Denmark office team.

Jasmyn has been working for many years with Green Skills Albany Ecojobs and has recently expanded her employment role with Green Skills to become our new Payroll Officer. Jasmyn will be sharing her working time between the Green Skills Denmark and Albany offices.  Her role of payroll officer will be mostly undertaken from the Denmark office.

Anita Cottle

Denmark Tip Shop Manager and Supervisor

Anita has been working with Green Skills Tip Shop for many years, and is a great people’s person, with a love of the outdoors work environment and helping community do their bit for waste reduction.  The Denmark Tip Shop benefits from her excellent communication and co-ordination skills, continuing to offer an incredible site for waste reduction, finding a treasure to repurpose, or just somewhere to have a fossick.

Angela Young

Angie joined our Tip Shop permanent staff in June 2020 after being a volunteer and a casual for since 2018.  Angie brings her passion and drive to the Tip Shop team, now with employment security as a permanent. Angie is highly driven and passionate and hopes she will be able to continue as one of the Denmark Green Skills team for some years to come.

Noelene Berndt

Noelene has lived in Denmark for 12 years and joined the Denmark Tip Shop crew as a permanent staff in December 2020 after doing volunteering and casual shifts at the Tip Shop. Noelene has been an antique collector for 30yrs and she is now also following her artistic path. Noelene’s previous work experience included working with youth with acquired brain injuries in high care, but she has decided to make a move to slow down a bit! The Denmark Tip shop is her main drive now and a great inspiration for all aspects of recycling and junk art. She loves working there and enjoys interacting with customers.

Warren Barrington

Warren has been working at the Denmark Tip Shop for many years, first as a volunteer, then a casual and in October 2021 joined the Green Skills Tip Shop team as a permanent staff member.

James Gentle

Project Manager Denmark Tip Shop Manager

James is committed to the reduction of landfill and the reuse, recycling or upcycling of everyday items. James, a lateral thinker, actively promotes the Tip Shop philosophy through creative arts projects and collaborative ventures with community and school groups in the area.
