What a great way to celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) 2017!
The theme for this year’s IDPwD could have been written just for Green Skills: “transformation towards sustainable and resilient society for all”.
How fabulous to be invited by the City of Melville to deliver one of our nature-based programs for people with disability, with WA Birds of Prey.
What did the audience think?
It was our biggest turnout yet! More than 50 people attended, including disability agency Interchange, Primary School children and members of the community with and without a disability. Miss Snuggles the Barn Owl as usual brought out gasps from the audience. And Micro the Wedge-tailed Eagle, gentle caresses.
Yvonne Sitko and her fabulous Birds of Prey are always a hit.
