* Join award winning Noongar artist and Aboriginal Elder, Joey
Williams of Poornarti Aboriginal Tours, at the Poornarti Art Studio
in Denmark.
* Enjoy a focus on local rivers (Kwoorabup/Hay) and the Wilson
Inlet area, as we co-create two aerial perspective collaborative
paintings on large canvases.
* Be inspired by visits to significant Noongar sites in the area, with story telling, art demonstrations and cultural instruction from Joey.

Porongurup
Art & Photographic weekend workshop
With Nikki Green (Artist), Basil Schur (Environmentalist)
6.30 pm Friday to 2pm Sunday 9 – 11th February 2018
Join artist Nikki Green (nikkigreen.com.au) and environmentalist Basil Schur at the Porongurup Shop art studio for a weekend of art and photography that will focus on the Ranges Link which forms part of the Gondwana Link.
Enjoy outings to Twin Creeks Conservation Reserve and other special places, as we create images & patterns.
Designer Donna Chapman will use photos of these art creations in Photoshop/InDesign as overlays on a aerial photograph of the scenic country between the Porongurup and Stirling Ranges. This will be used to create a stunning billboard size artwork that will help promote the eco restoration work of Gondwana Link and local group.
Be inspired through this creative collaboration and skill sharing.
Cost $145 waged/ $110 low income
