Green Skills is an innovative organisation that develops and manages environmental and community projects across Perth and regional WA.
We are a driver of change towards a more sustainable community.
Our mission is to promote and demonstrate sustainability in action through creation of employment opportunities and the provision of training, research and on-ground projects. In addition to our many community and environmental development projects we run successful enterprises such as our Ecojobs teams, Tip Shop operations and Professional Consulting services to support our vision.
2017 was a other exemplary year. All three offices, Murdoch, Albany and Denmark, contributed with a variety of localised, unique and regionally relative projects and enterprise activity.
Ecojobs in Perth and Murdoch continued to provide environmental management services to our regional and metropolitan clients.
Albany office has opened its brand new Community Enterprise Development Centre.
Weedy Wattle has been expertly reduced in many areas in the south Coast region.
Denmark Tip Shop continues to be a leader in the reduce, reuse, recycle campaigning and facilitating fun programs and creative ways to spread the message about waste diversion.
Over 9,000 participants engaged in activities across the year. More than 80 events were hosted. Over 4,000ha of bushland was monitored for invasive weeds. And so much more.
