Great Southern Sustainable Community Festival 2019

Saturday 10-2 on March 23rd, 2019

A fun festival showcasing sustainability in the Great Southern region of WA. Incorporating Harmony Day activities, Green Skills' the third Albany Farmer Market School Cook-Off competition and introducing the Festival of Zucchini, there's something for everyone! Three marquees will contain Harmony Day entertainment and presentations, and food with the School Cook-Off and Festival of Zucchini competitions and crafts. Live music, dancing, kid's activities, food vendors and market stalls will create a vibrant atmosphere.
Find out how to reduce your household waste and impact on the earth and connect to your local community with information and presentations on sustaining our economy, plastic free living, permaculture, cultural diversity, affordable earthbag building, fair food, local strategies for resilience to climate change, globally significant scientific research coming out of Albany and more.
