Biodiversity
Conserving and restoring our natural environment

The South West of Western Australia is one of 34 recognised global biodiversity hotspots.
Our contribution to conserving and restoring our natural environment is vitally important and it relies on community and volunteer involvement.
Green Skills does much more than fence off vegetation and plant trees
Protecting ecology means considering the needs of all plant and animal species. Green Skills has a range of species focused projects, like Balijup Fauna Sanctuary – a predator-free sanctuary for securing the future for some of the unique and threatened native marsupials of the South Coast region.

Protecting and Celebrating Birds
Green Skills protects wetland habitat, monitors shorebird migration, and increases knowledge and appreciation of birds in the South Coast region.
